Structural design is carried out using tried and tested theoretical methods, with reference to British and European Standards as appropriate.
Our specialism is mechanical design, comprising the design and manufacture of bespoke parts and assemblies for lifting, moving, fixtures and tooling projects. 3D models and 2D drawings are created using the latest SolidWorks design package together with Finite Element Analysis (FEA) software, allowing for robust development and modification to optimise our designs.
This combination of software also allows EDS to conduct structural analysis to ensure products are suitable for their intended loading and safety factors.
